Annual BMS conference moves menopause debate forward

The recent British Menopause Society annual conference has once again thrust the management of the menopause and the treatment of its symptoms into the spotlight, says Women’s Health’s consultant editor Dr Louise Newson.

Managing menopausal women with HRT is the most rewarding part of my job as a doctor. Many women tell me that the HRT I have prescribed for them has given them their life back, their energy has returned and their relationships with their partners and their children has improved.
