The Health Foundation, who conducted the analysis, said while funding will increase to £192 billion for 2024/25, in real terms, there will be a reduction in funding compared to 2023/24. This squeeze on finances can be attributed to inflation and increasing demand, driven by a growing and ageing population who require more care and support.
