Geriatric Medicine Journal is calling for abstract submissions for its annual conference held on Tuesday 18th October 2022 at Hallam Conference Centre, London.
The theme of this year’s conference is Health and Ageing in a Post-Covid NHS. It will look at the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on healthcare systems and the care of older patients. With further reform from the Heath and Care Act and the NHS backlog to tackle, it will also discuss the impact on services and management of older patients going forward.
We invite abstracts on all clinical aspects of midlife and ageing medicine. To present your research at the conference, your abstract must first pass double-blind peer review.
All the abstracts accepted will be displayed as posters or oral presentations. Authors are requested to indicate their preference for oral and/or poster presentation on submission.
You can also submit an E-poster for our abstract competition as a virtual delegate, with options to pre-record oral presentations if selected as a finalist.*
They will also be published in the November edition of Geriatric Medicine Journal.
The winning abstract will receive a prize of £200.
The deadline for entry is Friday 16th September. Those accepted will be notified by Friday 30th September.
*Please note: Recordings of presentations will be required in advance. There will not be any collection of presentations onsite. Presenters may be asked to join virtually during the session for live Q&A.
